Pearlanne Zelarney has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Pearlanne is currently the Manager of Research Informatics & Data Science at Children's Hospital Colorado since November 2023. Previously, they worked at National Jewish Health where they held multiple roles including Director of Research Informatics Services, Senior Data Analyst, and Research Data Curator. Before that, they worked as a Technology Marketing Specialist at the same organization. Prior to National Jewish Health, Pearlanne was the Co-Director of the Publishing Institute at the University of Denver from 1995 to 2003. Their early career includes serving as the Director at Micromedex, Inc., where they coordinated editorial groups and played a key role in designing electronic publishing programs and databases.

Pearlanne Zelarney holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology from Regis University. Pearlanne also earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Microbiology from the University of Wyoming. In addition, they obtained a certification in Data Management for Clinical Research from Coursera in November 2013.
