James Kirwan

James Kirwan currently serves as an Honors Attorney at the National Labor Relations Board since September 2022. In addition, Kirwan has been a Fellow at the Program on Legislative Negotiation at American University Washington College of Law since June 2020, where responsibilities include creating a database of scholars and assisting in negotiation simulations. Prior experiences include serving as the Inaugural Editor-in-Chief of the Michigan Journal of Law & Society, working as a Law Clerk for the Senate Judiciary Committee, and completing law clerk positions at the National Labor Relations Board. Kirwan also has experience as a Program Assistant at the Social Science Research Council and as a Title IX Intern at the University of Pittsburgh. Kirwan earned a Doctor of Law from the University of Michigan Law School in 2022 and holds a degree from the University of Pittsburgh.
