Research and Policy Development

About

The Research and Policy Development team at the National LGBT Cancer Network focuses on conducting thorough research to understand the unique cancer risks faced by the LGBT community. They develop policies and advocate for necessary changes within healthcare systems to ensure that LGBT cancer survivors and those at risk receive culturally competent care. Additionally, the team works to disseminate their findings and promote awareness through educational initiatives aimed at both the LGBT community and healthcare providers.
