Laura Ryan

Laura Ryan currently serves as the Assistant Keeper of Visual Collections at the National Library of Ireland since March 2024. Previously, Laura held the position of Assistant Librarian at Dublin City University from August 2022 to March 2024, focusing on Special Collections & Archives. Prior to that, Laura worked at University College Dublin in various roles, including Assistant Librarian for a Collections Curation Project and as a Library Assistant in Cultural Heritage and Planning & Administration. Laura's early career included significant experience in photography and event management, operating Laur Ryan Photography, and contributing to local media outlets as a photographer and writer. Laura holds a Master of Library & Information Science as well as a Master in Art History from University College Dublin, along with a Bachelor's degree in English and Art History.
