Director, Technical Services & Network

Gloria has been working in the IT field for over 10 years. Director, started their career as a Systems Analyst at the National Works Agency in 2007. In this role, they were responsible for implementing and maintaining the agency's computer systems. In 2014, they transitioned to the Shipping Association of Jamaica as an IT Business Analyst. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the implementation of a new HR system for the company. In 2015, they left the Shipping Association of Jamaica to become the Director of Technical Services & Network at the National Library of Jamaica. In this role, they are responsible for managing the library's IT infrastructure and staff.

The educational career for Director, Technical Services & Network would be as follows:

- A certificate in renewable energy and alternative energy management from The University of the West Indies, Mona.

- An M.Sc. in computer-based management information systems from the University of the West Indies, Mona.

- A Ba. in library and information studies from the University of the West Indies.

- 8 CXC O'Levels, 3 CXC A'Levels, and 3 GCE A'Levels in business from Meadowbrook High School.

- Common Entrance from Half Way Tree Primary School.
