Magesh Elangovan

Magesh Elangovan has extensive experience in IT leadership and transformation, currently serving as the Head of IT - New Business Applications at National Life Group since September 2016. In this role, Magesh leads initiatives related to New Business and IT operational standards, focusing on the implementation of underwriting systems and operational metrics standardization. Magesh has a strong background in financial management and vendor relations from a previous position as Head of Technology and Business Management. Prior to National Life Group, Magesh worked at HCL America Inc for over 16 years, where roles included Delivery Head - Insurance, overseeing insurance programs and project execution across North America. Early career includes experience as a Senior Programmer Analyst at DASD. Magesh holds a degree in Artificial Intelligence - Business Strategies and Applications from the University of California, Berkeley, and a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Madras.
