Laura MacAulay

Laura Macaulay has extensive experience in education and project management, currently serving as Project Manager at the National Literacy Trust since March 2023. Previous roles include English Teacher at St. Wilfrid's Catholic High School and Editor at Families Magazine. Laura held various leadership positions at St. Wilfrid’s Catholic High School, including Deputy Head Teacher and Assistant Head Teacher, and served as Head of the English Department at St. Wilfrid's from 2006 to 2008. Laura began a teaching career at Temple Moor High School, contributing as both a Key Stage Coordinator and Teacher of English. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language from Newcastle University, obtained between 1999 and 2002.
