Phil Sheppard

Phil Sheppard is an experienced Project Manager at National Literacy Trust since January 2020, also working as a freelance writer and illustrator for Baa Code since August 2019. As Treasurer for the Doncaster Book Awards Ltd since September 2003, Phil contributes to promoting reading for pleasure among children in Doncaster. A self-employed professional since January 2003, Phil has engaged in teaching, authorship, illustration, and animation. Previously, Phil served as a consultant in English for Astrea Academy Trust and held teaching positions at Atlas Academy and Hexthorpe Primary School, focusing on English language development and writing initiatives. Phil has also worked in marketing roles at Creative Clusters and MetalFX Technology, achieving several prestigious awards for marketing efforts, and completed an MA in Illustration from the University of Hertfordshire and a BA in Advertising and Marketing from Lancaster University.
