Rachel S. is an experienced communications professional with a diverse background in media and outreach. Currently serving as the Communications Manager at the National Literacy Trust since October 2021, Rachel S. has been instrumental in shaping media strategies. As Director at Make Some Noise Productions Limited since July 2020, Rachel S. co-runs a film production social enterprise that supports small charities and promotes employment in the creative industries. Previously, Rachel S. held the position of Head of Media & Communications at Rainforest Foundation UK from September 2013 to July 2020, and served as Communications Coordinator at Earthwatch Institute for a fixed term in 2012-2013. Rachel S. obtained a BA (hons) in English from Bretton Hall College of the University of Leeds between 1998 and 2001.
