Lewis Custer

Lewis Custer joined National Medical Billing Services in 2013 as the Senior Vice President of Administration. In this role, Lewis oversees National Medical’s Lean Six Sigma deployment throughout the organization. He also runs our Implementation Department, where he onboards all new clients in a seamless and efficient manner while also bringing best practices in the areas of processes and technology to our clients. For the previous 13 years, Lewis was the Director of Revenue Cycle Services for Quest Diagnostics, the largest clinical laboratory in the U.S. Prior to that, for 10 years, Custer was the Senior Director of Contract Administration at Mid Atlantic Medical Services, Inc. (now United Healthcare). Lewis holds a Six Sigma Green Belt Certification, is also certified by The Academy of Healthcare Management, Professional designation and was honorably discharged from the United States Army.
