David Falberg

David Falberg has had a diverse range of work experiences in the field of information technology. David started their career at Digex, Inc. where they served as the Manager of Technical Operations, overseeing operational issue resolution and the build-out of web, database, and application servers. Following that, they worked at MCI, Inc. as a Sr. Product Manager, responsible for managing major business lines such as enterprise storage, backups, security, and monitoring. David also led the west coast engineering team and provided support for client eCommerce sites. David then joined Cassatt Corporation as a Sr. Systems Engineer, handling the corporate infrastructure, including virtualization platforms and core product platforms.

Falberg then transitioned to UCSF Medical Center as the Manager of Systems Architecture and Data Center Technical Operations, where they managed teams responsible for server support, storage management, and enterprise-scale backups. At CalCPA, they served as the Director of IT Strategy and Operations, reporting directly to the CEO and providing strategic vision for the IT department. Currently, they hold a leadership position at National Mortgage Insurance Corporation (National MI), first as the Director of IT Operations and then as the Senior Director of Enterprise Technologies and Information Security. David is now serving as the VP and Chief Information Security Officer at National MI.

David Falberg obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Maryland Global Campus between 1992 and 1994. In addition, they obtained a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)² in January 2022.
