Lisa D.

Lisa D. has extensive work experience in the mortgage insurance industry. Lisa started their career in 1987 at Freddie Mac, where they served as the Director of Credit and was responsible for developing and implementing credit risk management strategies. During their time at Freddie Mac, Lisa worked closely with national financial institutions and negotiated customized credit and collateral products.

In 2008, Lisa joined United Guaranty Corporation as the Director of Underwriting, leading a team of underwriting risk managers and team leaders. Lisa focused on risk management strategies, credit policies, and fraud detection/investigation. Lisa also developed and implemented strategic plans and policies for underwriting servicing, fraud analysis, master policy administration, and division reporting.

In 2013, Lisa joined National Mortgage Insurance Corporation (National MI) as the Director of Risk Operations. Lisa later took on the role of Director of Credit Policy and then Senior Director of Risk & Contract Underwriting Operations. In these roles, Lisa played a key role in overseeing risk and contract underwriting operations, as well as developing and maintaining credit policies.

Throughout their career, Lisa has demonstrated expertise in credit risk management, underwriting, policy development, and negotiation. Lisa has collaborated with various departments, including actuarial, legal, underwriting, risk analytics, sales, servicing, and marketing & communications.

Lisa D. pursued their Bachelor's degree in BBA-Management from Georgia State University between 1978 and 1982.
