Nick Realmuto

Nick Realmuto has extensive work experience in finance and accounting roles. Nick currently holds the position of VP, Corporate Controller at National Mortgage Insurance Corporation - "National MI" since April 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Director, Assistant Corporate Controller at the same company from March 2021 to May 2022. Nick previously held the position of Director, Assistant Corporate Controller at National MI from November 2017 to March 2021.

Before joining National MI, Nick worked at BNY Mellon as the Vice President of Finance Risk from October 2015 to November 2017. Prior to that, they were employed at National Cooperative Bank, where they held the role of Accounting Manager, Assistant Vice President of Corporate and Technical Accounting from October 2014 to September 2015, and Senior Accountant from July 2010 to September 2014.

In addition to their corporate roles, Nick also has teaching experience as an Adjunct Professor at American University from January 2011 to August 2015. Nick started their career at Deloitte as an Audit Senior from September 2007 to July 2010.

Nick Realmuto completed their undergraduate education at American University from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a focus on Accounting and Finance. Additionally, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics during the same time period. Nick went on to obtain the DC CPA License from the DC Board of Accountancy in October 2009, followed by the Virginia CPA License from the VBOA - Virginia Board of Accountancy in April 2009.
