Brian Downer

Brian Downer is currently a board member at the National Minority Supplier Development Council. Brian has also served as EVP and Chief Procurement Officer at Truist, SunTrust, and State Street. Prior to their corporate career, Brian was a board member and treasurer at the Boston Chinatown Neighborhood Center.

Brian is a committed advocate for diversity and inclusion. Brian has over 20 years of experience working in procurement and supply chain management. Brian has a proven track record of developing and implementing strategies that create value for their organizations. Brian is a strategic thinker who is able to see the big picture and develop creative solutions to complex problems.

Brian is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Brian has also completed executive education programs at Harvard Business School and MIT Sloan School of Management.

Brian Downer's educational career consisted of earning a BS in finance from Merrimack College.
