Issa Haidar

Issa Haidar has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. Issa began their career in 2005 at Ooredoo Kuwait, where they held multiple roles over the years. Issa started as a Senior Telecommunication Engineer, specializing in Radio Planning and Optimization, and later became the Manager of RAN Planning. Most recently, they served as the Director of Network Planning and Design. In 2022, they joined Kuwait University as an Advisory Council Member.

Issa Haidar has a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, which was obtained from 1998 to 2003. Following this, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management, General from Gulf University for Science and Technology (GUST) between 2011 and 2013. In terms of executive education, Issa completed the Essentials of Leadership program at London Business School in 2021 and the Strategic Leaders Program at the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business by 2022.
