Mai AlEssa currently serves as the Director of Strategy Program Management & Transformation Office at Ooredoo Kuwait, overseeing transformation projects since October 2022. Prior to this role, Mai held managerial positions at the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences from July 2013 to October 2022, where responsibilities included managing project funding, developing the foundation's strategic direction, and creating performance evaluation frameworks. Additionally, Mai contributed as a Board Member at Automated Systems Company and as a Program Analyst for the UNDP, focusing on environmental initiatives. Early career experience includes working as a Senior Sales Engineer at Siemens. Mai holds an MSc in Environmental Management from the University of Derby and a BSc in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder.
