Tapan Tripathi has a diverse work experience in the telecommunications industry. Starting in 1996, they began their career at Focus Advertising Pvt Ltd as a Jr.Executive. Tapan then transitioned to The Coca-Cola Company, where they worked in Sales/Marketing until 2002. Following this, Tripathi joined Idea Cellular (Birla-AT&T) as a Manager Marketing and later took on the responsibility of managing Prepaid, Postpaid, and Marketing communication verticals. In 2005, Tripathi joined Airtel as Head of Marketing Acquisition and subsequently moved to Vodafone as Head of Marketing-New Businesses. From 2009 to 2013, they worked at MTS Group as the Director of Marketing, overseeing Voice, Data, and Fixed line business operations. Currently, Tripathi is employed at Ooredoo Kuwait, where they have held various positions such as Senior Director of Segment Marketing, Acting CMO, CMO, and is currently serving as the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).
Tapan Tripathi holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from London Business School. Tapan also completed an Executive Course in Brand & Strategic Marketing at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore.
