Jess Sullivan

Jess Sullivan has a diverse work experience, beginning with their current role as a Software Engineer at Scan.com since 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Financial Services Administrator, MCpl for the Canadian Armed Forces | Forces armées canadiennes from 2017 to 2021. From 2009 to 2017, they were a Professional Musician for the Canadian Forces. Jess also held the role of Ruby on Rails Developer and Junior Ruby on Rails Developer at We Are Wildgoose from 2021 to 2022. From 2019 to 2021, they worked as a Teacher of Media Production and Film Studies at Hereford Sixth Form College. From 2014 to 2019, they were an Occasional Teacher and Long Term Occasional Teacher for the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (OCDSB), teaching English, civics, and careers. From 2012 to 2013, they were an Occasional Teacher for the Ottawa Catholic School Board, and from 2013 to 2011, they were a Music Teacher at Ashbury College. Finally, from 2011 to 2010, they were an English Teacher at Bishops Stortford Boys High School and The High Weald Academy.

Jess Sullivan completed a Bachelor of Music at the University of Ottawa from 2005 to 2009, majoring in Music Teacher Education. In 2009 to 2010, they completed a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) at the University of Ottawa, majoring in Music and English. Finally, they completed a Master's Degree in Education at the University of Ottawa from 2012 to 2014.
