Louise Bolden

Louise Bolden has a diverse and extensive work experience in software engineering and development. Louise is currently working as a Senior Backend Engineer at Scan.com since March 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Software Engineer at Third Space Learning from August 2022 to February 2023. In this role, they focused on developing and deploying new microservices and orchestrating AWS products to replace an old monolith.

Before that, Louise worked as a Software Engineer at FutureLearn from August 2020 to July 2022 and at Made Tech from March 2020 to August 2020. Louise also gained experience as a Software Developer and DevOps Engineer at Beano Studios from May 2018 to February 2020.

In addition, Louise had a teaching role as a Cover Teacher at 23 Code Street from September 2018 to December 2018. Louise taught coding in a safe and supportive environment for underrepresented groups.

Throughout their career, Louise also pursued freelance and contract work as a Web Application Developer. From August 2012 to March 2018, they built and overhauled web applications for various companies, focusing on custom e-commerce platforms for subscription-based products and services.

Louise Bolden's education history shows a progression of academic achievements. In 2010 to 2011, they obtained a Certificate of Higher Education in Web Technologies from Birkbeck, University of London. Following this, from 2018 to 2020, they pursued a Certificate of Higher Education in Mathematical Studies from the same institution.

Their educational journey continued as they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mathematics from Birkbeck, University of London starting in 2020 and expected to graduate in 2024.

In addition to their formal education, Louise Bolden also obtained a certification as an Elasticsearch Engineer I from Elastic in June 2018.
