Amanda Peterson has a strong background in nonprofit event fundraising and management. Amanda began their career as a Campaign Coordinator at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in 2006, where they worked until 2010. Amanda then joined the National MS Society as a Senior Development Manager, a role they held for four years. In 2014, they transitioned to Susan G. Komen, initially as the National Race Revenue Manager and later as the National Program Manager, Affiliate Revenue. In 2017, they joined The ALS Association as the National Manager of Signature Events. Amanda then moved on to March of Dimes in 2018, where they served as the Regional Director of Event Fundraising until 2020. Currently, they are working at the National MS Society as the Senior Director, Leadership Events, and has recently been promoted to the role of Associate Vice President, Leadership Events. Amanda's experience showcases their expertise in strategic planning, relationship management, training facilitation, and revenue generation in the nonprofit sector.
