Amy Kenrich Woods

Amy Kenrich Woods has a diverse work experience in the field of fundraising and event management. Amy is currently working as the Director of Leadership Events at the National MS Society since July 2022. Prior to this role, they were the Senior Manager of Leadership Events at the same organization.

Before joining the National MS Society, Amy worked at Auction & Event Solutions as a Chicago Area Planner. In this part-time role, they managed 12+ gala events annually, raising a total of $1.7 million. Amy was responsible for implementing a technology program for these events throughout the Greater Chicago area. Amy held this role from 2011 to January 2021.

Amy was also the owner of their own event management company, Amy Kenrich Special Events - Fundraising and Event Management. Amy has also worked as the Director of Development at Us Too International Inc from January 2015 to October 2018. In this role, they managed the annual SEA Blue Prostate Cancer Walk/Run in Lincoln Park, overseeing the sponsorship campaign, volunteer recruitment, permits, vendor procurement, marketing materials, and event day logistics. Amy also handled individual donor cultivation, solicitation campaigns, donor acknowledgment programs, and assisted with program grant requests and research.

Additionally, Amy worked as a Travel Director at Zest Events Inc., Chicago from January 2013 to December 2015, and as a Special Events Coordinator at Thresholds from 1993 to 1998. In the latter role, they were responsible for coordinating 12 events per year, including the annual Golf & Tennis Benefit and the Greg LeMond Bike Ride.

Amy Kenrich Woods holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theater/English from Colorado College. Amy also attended Ridgewood High School, but their degree and field of study are not provided.
