Senior Director, Community Engagement at National Multiple Sclerosis Society (NMSS)

Eric Szafran, MPH has a diverse work experience spanning over several organizations. Eric began their career at the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, CT Chapter in 2004, where they served as a Chapter Programs Coordinator until 2007. Eric then joined Telesis LLC as a Lead Automation Analyst from 2007 to 2009. Returning to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, CT Chapter in 2009, they took on the role of Clinical Partnerships & Direct Services Manager before being promoted to Senior Manager, Corporate Relations in 2014. In 2017, Eric joined the National MS Society, where they held various positions, including Senior Manager, Program Development and Director, Program Development. Currently, they serve as the Senior Director of Community Engagement. Eric's extensive experience in the healthcare and non-profit sectors makes him a valuable asset to any organization.

Eric Szafran, MPH received their Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) degree with a specialization in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management from the University of Connecticut in 2012. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology and Sociology at the University of Connecticut in 2004. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Nonprofit Management from the University of Connecticut.
