Jaclyn Smoczynski

Associate Vice President, Community Engagement at National Multiple Sclerosis Society (NMSS)

Jaclyn Smoczynski has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Jaclyn worked at the National MS Society for a majority of their career, starting as a Residential Stabilization Associate at Provena Behavioral Health in 1999. Jaclyn then moved on to become a Sr. Event Manager at the National MS Society in 2000. In 2003, Jaclyn worked as a Case Manager/Shelter Counselor at the Tri-City Homeless Coalition. Jaclyn then joined the San Francisco Unified School District in 2005 as a Learning Support Professional. Jaclyn returned to the National MS Society in 2007 and held several leadership positions, including Vice President of Programs and Services and Associate Vice President of Program Implementation & Engagement. Jaclyn'smost recent role at the National MS Society is Associate Vice President of Community Engagement, which they started in November 2020.

Jaclyn Smoczynski holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Jaclyn also has a Masters degree in Social Work from San Jose State University.
