Bill Kruse

Bill Kruse is currently a Project Consultant at the National Museum of Australia. Bill has over fifteen years of experience in the field of anthropology, with a focus on Indigenous peoples and development, land management, native title and heritage. Bill has worked extensively in Australia and Indonesia, and is an expert in social impact assessment. Prior to their current position, Bill was an Associate at Banarra, where they led business development in Land Access and Heritage. Bill has also held positions as a Senior Anthropologist at Yamatji Marlpa Aboriginal Corporation (YMAC) and as a Project Advisor and Contractor - Specialist Land Management Planning at the Indigenous Land Corporation.

Bill Kruse received a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Social Anthropology from The Australian National University. Bill also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Social Anthropology from the University of Sydney, as well as a Graduate Diploma of Language (Indonesian) from Deakin University. In addition, they have a Certificate III in Indonesian/Malay Languages and Literatures from Central Institute of Technology, Perth (Perth TAFE).
