Joann Hamilton is an experienced professional in the museum and heritage sector, currently serving as the Digitisation Coordinator at the National Museum of Australia since June 2024. Prior to this role, Joann held various positions at the National Museum of Australia from April 2017 to November 2023, including Collection Information Systems Support Officer, where Joann managed the museum's Collection Management System and provided user support and training. Additional roles at the museum included Photographic Services Officer, Project Officer for the Collection Digitisation Project, Registration Officer, and Exhibition Officer. From 2013 to April 2017, Joann worked as a Preparator and Art Handler at the National Portrait Gallery in Canberra.
