Cristina Almendarez is an accomplished legal professional with a diverse background in intellectual property litigation and public interest law. Currently serving as an Associate at Benesch Law since January 2021, Cristina also co-chairs the Benesch Latino Employee Resources Group. Prior experience includes a partnership at Honigman LLP from January 2019 to January 2021, and an associate role at both Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn LLP and Kirkland & Ellis, where Cristina specialized in intellectual property litigation. Additional experience encompasses a PILI Graduate Fellowship at the ACLU of Illinois and summer positions at Kirkland & Ellis LLP and the Western District of Washington U.S. Attorney's Office. Educational credentials include a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Yale University.
