Francisco J. Velasco

Francisco J. Velasco, CPA, currently serves as the Auxiliary Board Secretary for the National Museum of Mexican Art since July 2023. With extensive experience in accounting and finance, Velasco has held significant roles such as Controller and Senior Accountant at The Joyce Foundation since April 2019. Prior to that, Velasco was a Senior Audit Associate and Audit Associate at KPMG from August 2015 to April 2019 and gained initial experience as a Public Sector Audit Intern and Accounting Intern at various firms, including KPMG and Jodie Brown, CPA. Velasco began a career in finance as a part-time Bank Teller at JP Morgan Chase from October 2010 to March 2014. Academic achievements include a Bachelor's in Accounting from DePaul University, completed between 2012 and 2014, and a prior degree from Joliet Junior College.
