Nicole Arteaga is an experienced professional with a strong background in LGBTQ support services and community health education. Currently serving as the Network Gathering Manager at the National Network of Abortion Funds since August 2019, Nicole previously held positions as Program Coordinator for LGBTQ Support Services at the San Francisco Unified School District and Program Coordinator at LYRIC, where responsibilities included developing training curricula, coordinating events, and supervising social justice internship programs. Earlier experience as a Community Health Educator at Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas, Inc. involved designing and facilitating comprehensive sexual health education programs. Nicole holds a Master’s Degree in Women's and Gender Studies from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Arts in Women's Studies from Northern Illinois University, along with a certificate in Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Studies.

National Network of Abortion Funds empowers members to remove financial and logistical barriers to abortion access by identifying and empowering people who have had abortions and organizing at the intersections of racial, economic, and reproductive justice. Every reproductive decision, including abortion, would be made in thriving, peaceful, andaffordable communities.
