Kurt Manchester

Kurt Manchester currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the Nordic Museum, where involvement in the facilities committee contributed to a successful $50 million project. As a Senior Engineer at Manchester International LLC since 2014, Kurt designed and implemented upgrades for vessels and innovated new systems for commercial salmon fishing boats. Previous roles include General Manager and Consultant at Maximum Performance Hydraulics, President of Rapp Marine U.S., and Vice President positions at Setpoint and Bardahl Manufacturing Corporation, where Kurt significantly increased global sales and achieved record profits. Kurt holds a BA in Business Administration and Management from Western Washington University.

National Nordic Museum

The Nordic Museum is housed in a 57,000 sq. ft., purpose-built facility, which includes an interactive and immersive core exhibition, two classrooms, a craft studio, and a state-of-the art auditorium. Visiting exhibitions is presented in a dynamic 3,700 sq. ft. gallery, designed to accommodate world-class exhibitions from the national galleries of the Nordic countries.
