Erik G. Milito

Erik Milito is currently an Adjunct Professor at The George Washington University and serves as the President of the National Ocean Industries Association, advocating for the offshore oil, gas, and wind industries since November 2019. Previously, Erik Milito held the position of Vice President of Upstream Policy at the American Petroleum Institute from November 2002 to November 2019, representing the interests of over 400 companies in the oil and gas sector. Prior legal experience includes serving as an Attorney at the U.S. Department of the Interior, providing legal counsel on various issues, and as a Judge Advocate in the U.S. Army, where Erik Milito handled military legal cases and received several commendations for service. Erik Milito earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame and a Doctor of Law from Marquette University Law School.
