Amanda Phelps

Amanda Phelps currently serves as Chief of Staff at NOAA National Ocean Service, a position held since April 2024. Prior to this role, Amanda held multiple positions at NOAA, including Acting Formulation and Planning Division Chief and Budget and Program Analyst, beginning in January 2019. Amanda's background also includes experience as a Program and Budget Analyst at Lynker Technologies from October 2016 to January 2019 and as a Budget Analyst at Integrated Systems Solutions from September 2012 to October 2016. Amanda holds a Master's degree in Environmental Science from Hood College (2012-2016) and a Bachelor of Science in Marine Science from Coastal Carolina University (2004-2008).
