Caroline Morris serves as the Southeast Regional Coordinator for the Marine Debris Program at NOAA, where expertise includes overseeing marine debris-related projects, activities, and grants in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia. Additionally, in the role of Partnerships Manager at Ayirkasa, Caroline develops strategies that align with goals of environmental stewardship and economic empowerment. At MIT D-Lab, Caroline actively mentors undergraduate students and leads projects, including a co-design workshop in Ghana and a design workshop for refugee youth in Greece. Previous experience includes a Senior Associate position at Strategies 360, where legislative and government relations strategies were developed, and roles at MDRC focused on policy and data analytics. Caroline holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences from Wellesley College and has valuable research experience from multiple projects at MIT D-Lab and MIT Media Lab.
