Christina Maurin

Christina Maurin is an experienced physical scientist currently serving as the Dataset Section Chief at NOAA's National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI) since January 2023, where responsibilities include managing a team, overseeing operations for extensive datasets, and facilitating modernization efforts for legacy software. Previously, Christina held various roles within the United States Air Force, including Meteorologist and Lead Meteorologist at the 14th Weather Squadron, focusing on climate monitoring and data management. Christina’s earlier experience includes positions at NOAA's Climate Prediction Center, INNOVIM, and Ace Info Solutions, Inc., all emphasizing meteorology, climate research, and software programming. Christina holds a Master of Science in Geography and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science with a specialization in Atmospheric Sciences and Hydrology, both from the University of Delaware.
