Derek Hanson

Derek Hanson is an experienced attorney and international relations specialist with a career at NOAA: National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration since August 2010, where responsibilities include serving as an Attorney-Advisor, International Relations Specialist, and Program Coordination Officer. In addition, Derek gained experience at the U.S. Department of State during a PMF detail to the Office of the Legal Adviser in 2012. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor degree from The George Washington University Law School (2007-2010) and a Bachelor of Arts with Distinction in International Studies and Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (2004-2007).
