Jim Cooper

Jim Cooper currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Blue-X, focusing on climate-related commercialization and innovation services. In addition to this role, Cooper acts as a Core Instructor and UCSD Teaching Team Representative for the NSF I-Corps Hub: Desert and Pacific Region, contributing to training in lean startup principles. As an External Industry Advisor to the CSU Program for Biotechnology, Cooper lends expertise in workforce development and industry collaboration. Other engagements include mentorship roles with Larta Institute, UNSW Founders, Beanstalk AgTech, and Nucleate Australia, along with grant reviewing for NOAA.
