Katie Carter

Katie Carter is an accomplished Emergency Response Specialist at NOAA, with prior experience as the Regional Communications and Community Impact Manager and Outreach Coordinator at the Virginia Department of Emergency Management. Carter has a robust background in communication, graphic and digital design, and social media management, complemented by experience as a Meteorologist for ABC 8NEWS WRIC, where weather forecasts and public safety information were effectively delivered across multiple platforms.
