Matthew R.

Matthew R. is an experienced professional in risk management and counterintelligence, currently serving as the Director of the Internal Risk Office at NOAA since May 2024, focusing on internal risk mitigation and research security. Previously, Matthew held positions at the U.S. Department of Commerce and Koniag Government Services, where responsibilities included managing insider threat programs and analyzing risks for USAID's Office of Security. Additional experience includes serving as a Senior Counterintelligence Analyst for G2 Global Solutions and ABSc, providing valuable support in national security and personnel security programs. Matthew holds a Master’s Degree in Intelligence Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus and a Bachelor of Arts in Military Intelligence from American Military University.
