Mendy Garron

Mendy Garron is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in marine mammal response and veterinary technology. As the Business Owner of Seaside Art & Calligraphy Co. since January 2021, Mendy also serves as the Regional Marine Mammal Emergency Response Coordinator at NOAA, where roles have included Acting Communications and Internal Affairs Team Supervisor and several assignments focused on oil spill planning and marine mammal stranding response. Additional experience includes a position as an Animal Resilience Hazard Research Content Creator at HazAdapt, Inc., and a Research Assistant role at Sustainable Seas Technology, Inc. Mendy's background in marine biology is complemented by a Master's degree in Anthrozoology from Canisius University and a Master's in Public Policy and Administration from Northwestern University, along with additional academic credentials in veterinary technology.
