Nancy Ritchey

Nancy Ritchey serves as the Archive Branch Chief at NOAA since October 2008, focusing on the preservation and stewardship of global meteorological, oceanographic, and geophysical data. Prior to NOAA, Nancy held various leadership positions at SSAI, managing operations at a large NASA data center and directing user and data services. Experience also includes roles at SAIC, CSC, Analytical Services & Materials Inc, and Centel Federal Services Co., where responsibilities encompassed user support, data management, and remote sensing research. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Atmospheric Science from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor of Science in Geography with a meteorology emphasis from Northern Illinois University, along with participation in the Dept. of Commerce Executive Leadership Development Program.
