Nishanth Shah

Nishanth Shah is currently a Senior Cloud Computing Specialist at NOAA: National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration since August 2023. Previously, Nishanth served as a Scientific Software Developer at Jupiter Intelligence from November 2021 to January 2023, where responsibilities included designing and managing a remote development environment platform on EKS. Earlier positions included Software Engineer at LexisNexis from September 2018 to October 2021, where Nishanth was the lead developer and architect of Nexis Data Lab, utilizing microservices architecture with Docker and Kubernetes on AWS. Nishanth also has experience as an Assistant Tennis Coach at Southern Village from 2015 to October 2018, a Software Engineer Summer Intern at LexisNexis in 2017, and an Usher at Carolina Performing Arts from 2015 to 2016. Nishanth is pursuing a Master's degree in Weather and Climate Risk and Data Analytics at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Postbaccalaureate Certificate in Geographic Information Systems at Penn State World Campus, while holding a bachelor's degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
