Meteorologist, Arctic Testbed And Proving Ground at NOAA

Rebecca Mazur is a meteorologist with extensive experience in atmospheric science and forecasting. Currently working at NOAA's National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration as a meteorologist for the Arctic Testbed and Proving Ground since June 2007, Rebecca focuses on advancing operational science and technology to meet the needs of the Arctic region. Prior to this role, Rebecca served as a forecaster at the National Weather Service in Cheyenne, WY, and held various positions such as senior and general forecaster. Rebecca started the career as a meteorologist intern at Chesapeake Energy in 2004. Educationally, Rebecca holds a Master's degree in Atmospheric Science from Colorado State University and a Bachelor's degree in Meteorology from Northern Illinois University.
