Christian Bishop

Christian Bishop is a highly skilled PhD student at the National Oceanography Centre since October 2021, with former experience as a Geo-environmental Consultant at BRD Environmental Ltd from September 2019 to August 2021. Responsibilities included compiling Phase 1 Desk Studies, conducting and overseeing Phase 2 Site Investigation fieldwork, and performing soil sampling and verification. Prior to this, Christian held positions as a Geoenvironmental Technician and Exploration Geologist, with a focus on field exploration, geological mapping, and supervising field assistants. Education includes a degree in Applied and Environmental Geology from the University of Leicester, supplemented by earlier studies in Geology, Chemistry, and Geography at Pembrokeshire College and Ysgol Dyffryn Taf. Leadership skills were demonstrated as President of the SEG Society during university.
