Clare Bellingham is a seasoned data scientist and marine data manager currently employed at the National Oceanography Centre since November 2017. Bellingham has held various positions at the National Oceanography Centre, including satellite oceanographer from 2014 to 2016, where significant contributions were made to investigating sea state bias in SAR altimetry data. Prior to the current role, Bellingham worked as a satellite oceanographer at Satellite Oceanographic Consultancy Ltd (SatOC) from 2016 to 2017, focusing on the sea state bias investigation in the Aghulas region as part of the SCOOP program. Clare Bellingham began an academic career as a PhD student at the National Oceanography Centre, Liverpool from 2010 to 2014, where research focused on sea level mass distribution. Bellingham earned a BSc (Hons) in Physics with Ocean and Climate Studies from the University of Liverpool in 2010.
