Rob Curry

Rob Curry is an experienced communications professional currently serving as a Communications Officer (Special Projects) at the National Oceanography Centre since March 2010, where responsibilities include developing the intranet using Microsoft Sharepoint and utilizing skills in HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery Mobile for web applications. Previously, Curry held various roles at the National Oceanography Centre, including Events and Public Engagement Coordinator and Database and Web Engineer, focusing on public engagement and collaborative web experiences. Prior to this, Curry was the SERPENT Outreach Coordinator, enhancing the visibility of the SERPENT project. From 1997 to 2008, Curry owned a web design company, delivering web solutions and graphic design for diverse clients, and worked as a Web Designer at Southampton Solent University, creating websites for various sectors. Academic background includes attendance at Alfred Sutton Boys School and Solent University.
