Theresa Boshier has extensive experience in project planning and support, currently serving as a Senior Project Planner at the National Oceanography Centre since January 2020, following roles as Senior Project Support Officer and Programme Support Officer. Prior to this, significant experience was gained at RBS from April 2001 to December 2019 in various positions including Departmental Security Officer, Systems Access Analyst, Controls Associate, and Administrative Assistant. Earlier in the career, Theresa held a Data Entry Clerk position at Skandia Multifunds Limited and worked as a Clerical Administrator at OWNHome Ltd. Theresa earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Media Technology from Solent University between 1996 and 2000.

The National Oceanography Centre is an independent self-governing organisation - a charitable company limited by guarantee. The NOC is funded by UK Research and Innovation to work on National Capability programmes, and manages on its behalf, the National Marine Equipment Pool - Europe’s largest fleet of autonomous and robotic vehicles, and two state of the art research ships RRS Discovery and RRS James Cook. The NOC has two sites, Southampton and Liverpool, and employs around 650 staff. We are co-located at both sites with leading UK Universities, giving us a unique position in UK marine research.
