Chief Technology Officer at National Orders

Ryan Owens has had a diverse range of roles throughout their work experience. Ryan started their career as a Technician at TBA Communications in March 2011, and then moved on to work as an Entertainment Technician at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay from August 2011 to January 2013. In 2012, they joined BCI Communications as a Radio Systems Designer and Radio Programmer, where they designed and deployed two-way radio systems and provided IT support for the company until April 2014.

After that, they worked at National Orders as a Senior System Technologist from April 2014 to January 2021. In this role, they dealt with advanced troubleshooting of RF and IP network systems, designed and tested Motorola MOTOTRBO systems, and deployed and troubleshooted various RF communications equipment.

In 2019, Ryan became the Chief Technology Officer at N-ear and is still fulfilling that role. Ryan also holds the same position at National Orders, starting in January 2021. Moreover, they worked as a Technology Specialist and Technical Event Coordinator at Florida State Thespians from 2011 to 2016, providing IT support and coordinating technical events for one of the largest theater festivals globally.

Ryan's earliest known work experience is with the State of Florida, where they served as the Communication Chief for Division of Emergency Operations ESF-8 from 2010 to 2016. In this role, they were responsible for ensuring effective communication during emergency response situations as part of the State Emergency Response Team.

Ryan Owens graduated from Riverview High School in 2011 with a High School Diploma. After completing high school, they pursued a career in Telecommunications Engineering at Motorola Solutions. Alongside their work at Motorola Solutions, Ryan also studied Emergency Management at the Emergency Management Institute (EMI). In addition to their formal education, Ryan has obtained certifications in CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, and CompTIA Server+ from CompTIA. Unfortunately, specific dates for the certifications and the completion of the telecommunications engineering program are not provided.
