Marion Wagner is a distinguished academic and community leader with extensive experience in social work education and advocacy. As Professor Emeritus at Indiana University School of Social Work since April 1982, Marion taught various subjects including policy and macro theory, and directed the Weekend program while serving as Executive Director of MSW Programs. Active since 1972 with the National Organization for Women, Marion has held numerous positions, including Indianapolis Board member and former Indiana State President, and is recognized for organizing and strategizing on social issues. Additionally, Marion has contributed to the National Association of Social Workers and served on the boards of various organizations like the Indiana Youth Group. Marion holds a PhD in Social Work from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, an MSW from San Diego State University, and a BA in Political Science from California State University, Los Angeles.
