Evan Parker is an accomplished archeologist currently employed by the National Park Service since January 2024. Prior to this role, Evan served as a Visiting Assistant Professor and Teaching Fellow at Millsaps College from May 2021 to January 2024, after holding positions as a Research Assistant and Adjunct Instructor at Tulane University from August 2011 to May 2021. Notable contributions include the preparation and delivery of course materials, alongside receiving superior evaluations from students. Evan's extensive field experience includes leadership as Crew Chief at the Bolonchen Regional Archaeological Project from May 2011 to May 2021, as well as positions as an Intern for the Mississippi Department of Archives and History and a Field Technician for the same archaeological project. Educationally, Evan holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Anthropology from Tulane University, completed in May 2023, alongside a Master of Arts in Anthropology and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology/Anthropology.
