Joni Gallegos is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in landscape architecture and transportation planning, primarily with the National Park Service (NPS) from 1990 to the present. As a Retired Senior Transportation Planner, Joni managed the development and implementation of the Alternative Transportation Program, overseeing a $10 million budget and coordinating with various parks. Previous roles included Project Manager, where Joni executed project scoping and contracting for facility design and construction in Washington, DC, and Senior Landscape Architect, responsible for producing comprehensive landscape architectural work products for national projects. Joni's foundational experience includes international development project work and an educational background comprising a Master of Landscape Architecture and a Master of Community and Regional Planning from Kansas State University, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, Horticulture from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
