Ajay K Khurana

Mr. Ajay K Khurana has been serving as Executive Director of Bank of Baroda since 1st April 2020.

Prior to joining the Board of Bank of Baroda as Executive Director, he served on the Board of Syndicate Bank as an Executive Director from 20th September 2018 till 31st March 2020.

He is a Post graduate in Business Management with Professional Qualification of CAIIB.

He joined Vijaya Bank as a Probationary Officer on 15th November 1988. In a career span of more than three decades he gained expertise in almost all key areas of Banking. He has rich experience in field and various key departments such as Audit, NPA Recovery, International Banking, Operations, Information Technology Dept. and Corporate Credit.

As Executive Director in Syndicate Bank, he was in charge of Information Technology, Digital, Stress Asset Management, MSME, Accounts etc. He steered transformation and automation of Recovery Vertical and MSME Business which resulted complete turnaround in both the business.

He spearheaded the major activity of Amalgamation of three banks (BOB, Vijaya & Dena)[Core Banking and all the Digital channels] in record time, took many new digital initiatives at Bank of Baroda like whatsapp banking, enhanced outlook & usage in Mobile banking, Payment Business, etc. He also accelerated the new synergies in customer experience.
